As per normal I seem to jump in the deep end. I'm new to pyrography but decided this needed "something". See the previous post for other views. In hindsight this wood was not the best choice for pyrography.
Some time ago at the club we had a rifle stockmaker give a talk and he left us with a couple of small blanks of English Walnut he could no longer use. This was turned from that wood about a year ago, but with the lathe awaiting a motor that fits, I am doing quite a lot of carving and catching up on unfinished projects.
